I quite like the way this poppy turned out in monochrome. I do not usually do flowers in monochrome but the dark background seems to suit this one.

This turtle has been photographed at the Botanical Gardens, Hervey Bay, Queensland. A Nikon D700 camera and 300mm lens was used. The image has been converted to monochrome in Photoshop.
